National Gardening Association Healthy Sprouts Awards (10-1-10)

Sponsored by Subaru and the NGA, the Healthy Sprouts Awards support school garden programs that teach kids about nutrition and the issue of hunger in the United States. Eligible applicants include schools and organizations that plan to garden in 2011 with at least 15 children between the ages of 3-18. The top 30 entries will each receive a $500 gift certificate to the Gardening with Kids catalog, NGA’s Eat a Rainbow Kit, and a literature package from NGA.
